The generality of the arguments answers for crimes related to trafficking in persons and aid to illegal immigration, among others. This is one of the processes resulting from the so-called "Operation Espelho".
Beja's court condemns five persons in the Operation I fear for the exploitation of migrant workers, including trafficking of persons and money laundering, while it teaches 17 arguments. Justice strengthens the fight against labour exploitation in the Alentejo.
Five of the 22 accused were sentenced to imprisonment between two and six years and a half, two suspensions.
