Avon and Somerset Police are encouraging football fans to behave responsibly during this year’s World Cup which got under way last night (Thursday). The tournament, which is being co-hosted by Mexico, USA, and Canada, kicked off with Mexico beating South Africa 2-0. England start their campaign against Croatia at 9pm on Wednesday and policing plans across Avon and Somerset are already in place to make sure everybody is able to watch the matches …
