Five Youths Gang-Rape Woman in Bihar’s Begusarai
Doctors removed a live bullet, a stone and a piece of wood from the survivor as police searched for five accused men.
On June 11, five men allegedly gang-raped and assaulted a woman in Begusarai, Bihar, overpowering her at her home around 11:30 pm when she went to the bathroom.
She was discharged on June 12 after initial treatment but returned the next day complaining of acute pain in her private parts, prompting doctors to examine her further.
During examination, doctors recovered a live bullet, a stone, and a piece of wood from her body that had allegedly been inserted by the perpetrators after the assault.
Police registered an FIR at Chakiya police station, and Manish, SP Begusarai, stated that a special team is conducting raids to arrest the accused at the earliest.
The survivor alleged that three criminals assaulted her three months ago, claiming the family reported it to police but received no response, fueling public demands for accountability.
