The Northern Village of Beauval is surrounded by the Muskeg Fire and other fires but Mayor Rick Laliberte said the community feels safe in spite of the challenging situation.

Beauval to lift evacuation order
Residents of Beauval can soon start returning home. Officials say the mandatory evacuation in the community will be lifted on Wednesday. Buses will be arranged for transport that morning. The state of local emergency will remain until August 6th. That is to assist priority 1 and priority 2 individuals to remain evacuated.
