Ukrainian army pushes back Russian troops near Lyman, bloggers say
Russian military bloggers have said Moscow’s forces have been forced to withdraw from positions near Lyman as Ukrainian troops counterattack, while accusing Russia’s military command of concealing the true situation on the battlefield. The precise scale of Ukraine’s counteroffensive remains unclear.
Russian milbloggers have begun to openly criticize the command of the Russian Federation because of the discrepancies between official statements and the situation on the Liman track, and in particular they recognize the successful counter-attacks by Ukrainian forces.
