The most important event for Russia will be victory over the forces opposing it, Dmitry Medvedev said on Saturday, as quoted by the Russian news agency RIA Novosti. The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council pointed to the Western world and NATO as opposing forces, which are using Ukraine as a battering ram.
In order to achieve a sustainable political settlement, Ukraine must obtain neutral and non-nuclear status, abandon its nationalistic course and accept Russian jurisdiction over the DNR, LND, Zaporozhsk and Herson regions, which was announced in an interview with Gosteleradio of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by Sovbeza of the Russian Federation.
