Two women were arrested for battery related charges on Monday following an incident inside of a Safeway in Gilroy.

(KRON) -- Two women caused a "disturbance" involving bear spray inside a Safeway grocery store on First Street in Gilroy just before 5 p.m. Monday, police said. "During the incident, a chemical irritant spray -- bear spray -- was used, which affected multiple individuals," the Gilroy Police Department wrote.
