Second drowning reported on Hunting Island

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) — The Beaufort County Coroner's Office (BCCO) reported a drowning at Hunting Island State Park. On Friday, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a call for a 38-year-old male. BCCO later identified the man as Paul Peters from Indian Trail, North Carolina. Peters died at on the scene.
