BCREA: BC CONSUMER PRICES SAW INCREASE IN MARCH

BRITISH COLUMBIA – Canadian prices, as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI), rose 2.4 per cent on a year-over-year basis in March, following a 1.8 per cent increase in February. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, the CPI was up 0.5 per cent in March, equivalent to a 5.9 per cent increase on an annualized basis.
