On Thursday, the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) approved the regulations for the purchase and sale of US dollars through the modalities of direct transactions and auctions. In accordance with Board Resolution No. 117/2026, financial intermediation entities (FIAs) that maintain a current and matching account in the BCB may participate. This participation may be on their own account or on behalf of third parties.
