The BC Wildfire Service says the Comox Lake fire is now being held. In it’s latest update, the Wildfire Service says the behaviour of the fire remains low, and is now mainly a smoldering ground fire with no open flame. By late yesterday, the size of the fire had increased to 5.6 hectares. Twenty-two firefighters are assigned to the fire, plus one helicopter to support.
