B.C. set to open Western Canada’s first new medical school in decades
The new Simon Fraser University medical school will add 48 students initially, aiming to increase to 120 by 2035 to address regional physician shortages.
- The estimated cost of the new medical school is about $520 million, to be shared between the provincial government and Simon Fraser University.
