Ten More Join The BBC's "Hercule" Series
The six-episode drama will adapt Lord Edgware Dies and Peril at End House while introducing Poirot’s allies, friends and a nemesis.
- On Friday, the BBC and BritBox announced a major casting wave for the "Hercule" series, confirming "Peril at End House" as the second adaptation following "Lord Edgware Dies."
- Currently filming in Liverpool, the six-part origin series stars Edward Bluemel as the young detective, chronicling his early life through three of Agatha Christie's novels.
- New ensemble additions include Ralf Little, Toby Stephens, Katherine Parkinson, and Omari Douglas, joining previously announced cast members Henry Ashton and James D'Arcy.
- Billed as "an intimate study of Hercule Poirot the man and an epic portrait of Britain between the wars," the series will feature early encounters with Captain Arthur Hastings and Chief Inspector Japp.
- Although the third adapted novel remains under wraps, the drama premieres in 2027 on BBC One in the UK and BritBox in North America.
