BBC Bosses Confirm Two More Series of Hit Show - Liverpool Echo

On Thursday, the BBC confirmed the commissioning of seasons 18 and 19 for Waterloo Road, securing its continuation with two more seasons.
Since its 2023 reboot, Waterloo Road has remained one of iPlayer’s top titles with under-35s, with its renewal coming amid cancellations of Doctors and River City.
In Greater Manchester, filming for series 18 and 19 will begin in the coming weeks, with production set to start later this year.
