Bayer Leverkusen Signs US Midfielder Malik Tillman for Club-Record Fee
NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA, GERMANY, JUL 12 – Leverkusen paid 35 million euros to replace Florian Wirtz, who left for Liverpool in a Bundesliga-record deal, signing Tillman through 2030 as part of their rebuild.
- On July 12, 2025, Bayer Leverkusen secured the signing of 23-year-old U.S. national team midfielder Malik Tillman, who transferred from Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven for a record-breaking amount in the club’s history.
