Bayards Vertiports, DragonFlyPads to develop drone vertiports at the Marché International de Rungis

Summary
Bayards Vertiports reports it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DragonFlyPads to support the development of vertiport infrastructure for its upcoming autonomous drone logistics operations at the Marché International de Rungis in France, Europe’s largest fresh food market. “This collaboration combines DragonFlyPads’ operational vision with more than six decades of the Bayards Aluminium Constructions Group ‘s experience in designing and manufacturing high-performance aluminium infrastructure for aviation, offshore and other mission-critical industries,” says Bayards in a Linkedin post. “As drone operations evolve from pilot projects to commercial reality, infrastructure becomes just as important as the aircraft themselves. Safe, reliable and scalable vertipad solutions will play a vital role in enabling BVLOS operations and integrating autonomous logistics into existing supply chains.
