Battlefield 6 Beta Pre-Load: How to Install, Launch Times, and More
AUG 4 – The open beta offers classic class-based multiplayer and new destruction mechanics across four maps with exclusive rewards for participants, ahead of the October 10 launch.
- Electronic Arts and DICE announced the Battlefield 6 Open Beta will run August 9–10 and August 14–17, with pre-loading starting August 4, 2025.
- Ahead of its October 10, 2025 launch, EA will hold an open beta spanning two weekends, as Battlefield 6 is the first new entry since 2021’s Battlefield 2042, which fans said missed the mark.
- All players can join the open weekends with no code required, while Early Access runs August 7–8 for Battlefield Labs, EA Play Pro, and Twitch Drops.
- Participants in the first weekend unlock Seeker and All-Terrain soldier skins, a Dominion Weapon Package and a Lights Out player card background, while the second weekend rewards a War Machine vehicle skin, a Striking Distance weapon package and a Bat Company dog tag.
- Initial feedback suggests the beta restores core large-scale battles, class teamwork, and spotlights new destruction mechanics, curated weapons and vehicles and class-locked weapons.
