Official: Enea Bastianini Joins Trackhouse MotoGP Team for 2027
The seven-time grand prix winner will replace Ai Ogura and join Raul Fernandez as Trackhouse completes its 2027 MotoGP lineup.
- On Monday, Trackhouse announced it signed Enea Bastianini to a two-year deal for the 2027 MotoGP season, where he will join Raul Fernandez at the satellite Aprilia outfit.
- Trackhouse sought a new rider after Ogura signed with factory Yamaha, while Bastianini departs Tech3 KTM following two difficult seasons with the team.
- "I am extremely excited" to join the SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team, Bastianini said, while team owner Justin Marks cited his "racing pedigree" as a "perfect scenario" for the organization.
- With Raul Fernandez's contract extension announced earlier this month, Trackhouse has finalized its 2027 line-up, positioning the duo to lead the Aprilia squad into the new 850cc era.
- Bastianini begins his new challenge at the Valencia test this year, where he will help develop the new Aprilia RS-GP to compete under the upcoming technical regulations.
