The economy of Araba, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa grew in the second quarter by 2.3% compared to the same period last year and 0.7% over the three-month period.
The GDP of Euskadi has advanced 0.7% in inter-quarterly terms in the second quarter of 2026, two tenths more than initially estimated, after a year-on-year growth of 2.3%, three tenths more than expected, according to data produced by Eustat. Employment has risen 0.4% compared to the previous quarter, representing a growth in year-on-year terms of 1.3%, a total of 13,238 net jobs more than the second quarter of the previous year.
