DeKALB, IL – The Mid-American Conference and Sun Belt Conference announced on Tuesday the matchups for the first round of the 2025-26 MAC-SBC Challenge for this upcoming basketball season.

Women’s Basketball to Host Northern Illinois in MAC-SBC Challenge - Southern Miss

CLEVELAND & NEW ORLEANS – The initial matchups of 2025-26 MAC-SBC Challenge have been announced by the respective league offices today. All 13 MAC women's basketball programs will travel to Sun Belt opponents on Monday, Nov. 3, with Southern Miss hosting Northern Illinois at Reed Green Coliseum.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Tuesday afternoon, the Mid-American Conference announced that the Miami University women's basketball team will compete at Coastal Carolina in the MAC versus Sun Belt Challenge on Monday, Nov. 3. It will be the first career meeting between the two programs.
