The Pierz Pioneers competed in the Class 2A State Baseball Consolation bracket Thursdy, June 12.

Pierz Baseball Beats Maple River in AA Consolation Semis, Shares 5th Place Finish

Pierz baseball took on Maple River in the Class AA consolation semifinals on Thursday and defeated them 7-1, advancing to the consolation final against Luverne. Unfortunately due to rain, the game was cancelled, the Pioneers will instead share the fifth place finish.
