SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — The Brockport baseball team displayed incredible grit on Friday at Central Park "A" Diamond, fighting through a grueling doubleheader in the Empire 8 Conference Championship Tournament. The Golden Eagles opened the day by fending off elimination with a commanding 5-1 victory over No. 4 Utica University, before seeing their season come to an end in a 10-9 thriller against No. 3 St. John Fisher.
