Baseball: Nevis hosts Laporte to open section tournament play

Nevis will seek to avenge a loss during the regular season when the Section 5A baseball tournament begins on Thursday (May 22). Nevis received the No. 3 seed in the West half of the bracket and will host No. 6 Laporte (7-6) at 5 p.m. Laporte edged the Tigers 5-4 during the regular season. Admission is by online tickets only.
