Baseball: Litchfield Dragons’ rally falls short

LITCHFIELD — Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted held off the Litchfield baseball team late en route to victory on Wednesday evening. Litchfield scored all seven of its runs in the fifth inning in its 8-7 loss to the Lakers in the Wright County Conference game at Optimist Park.
