Basalt appoints Lieutenant Aaron Munch as police chief

The Town of Basalt appointed Lieutenant Aaron Munch as the new police chief on Tuesday following the retirement of Chief Greg Knott after 13 years of service.  Munch was sworn in at the Basalt Town Council meeting on Tuesday.
