Barry Manilow Cancels More Concerts Amid Recovery After Cancer Surgery

Barry Manilow postponed concerts from Feb. 27 to March 17 as his surgeon said his body needs more time to heal after lung cancer surgery.

  • Barry Manilow, singer-songwriter, announced Friday, February 20, 2026, he must reschedule several arena concerts set for Feb. 27 through March 17 and will reschedule the postponed shows.
  • An MRI scan after bronchitis earlier this month detected a lung spot that required removal, and Manilow said the surgery went well.
  • According to Manilow, the doctor warned, `Your lungs aren't ready. You're in great shape, considering what you've been through, but your body isn't ready`, despite using the treadmill three times a day he can't sing more than three songs.
  • The affected dates span several arenas in cities such as Tampa, Charlotte, Norfolk, Baltimore, Cincinnati and Orlando, following earlier postponements of Manilow's Las Vegas residency Feb. 12–Feb. 21.
  • He still has seven April dates on the books, including Las Vegas shows from March 26 through April 4 and May 7–16, and his surgeon suggested he may be ready to perform by the end of March.
