Barron Trump-linked beverage brand launches first product with Florida-inspired twist
The Palm Beach-based startup is selling the drink online and at select South Florida retailers after spending more than a year refining the formula.
- SOLLOS Yerba Mate, a beverage brand linked to Barron Trump, debuted its Pineapple + Coconut 12-pack priced at $39. The Palm Beach-based company is marketing the product as a Florida-inspired drink for the "Sunshine State" lifestyle.
- Filed in January, documents in Florida and Delaware identify Trump as one of five directors of SOLLOS Yerba Mate Inc. The company was founded by a group of close friends, ages 19-23, who grew up in South Florida.
- Co-Founder Spencer Bernstein told FOX Business the team spent over a year refining the formula, creating over 100 iterations. SOLLOS also recently earned USDA Organic certification, distinguishing it from competitors using artificial sweeteners.
- Early consumer feedback has been positive, Bernstein said, noting the brand aims to offer a plant-based caffeine alternative. "We've proven that it's a beverage everyone can enjoy," he added, citing smooth energy without crashes.
- Following the 2024 dissolution of a Wyoming-based real estate firm linked to Trump, this launch marks a new business direction. Barron, a student at New York University, remains focused on the beverage venture headquartered near the family's Mar-a-Lago Club.
