Bantry Friendship group in La Crosse donates money to Alzheimer’s fund, for lifelike dog dolls

Some area dementia patients will soon have a new furry friend, to spend time with them, as a result of a fundraiser by one of the Sister City groups in La Crosse. This weekend, the La Crosse Bantry Friendship Association, with ties to La Crosse’s sister city in Ireland, donated $2700 to the Lucey Family Alzheimer’s Fund.
