Bangor man accused of whacking someone in the face with a compound bow

Police said the victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening facial injuries after a man came to sell a compound bow and struck him with it.

Bangor police on Monday arrested a man who allegedly hit a man in the face with a compound bow. The alleged assault was reported on Sunday around 8:30 p.m. Police found the victim with “significant, but not life-threatening” injuries to his face.
