B.C. Baller Signs with Vancouver Bandits Ahead of Kelowna Hoopfest
The forward returns for a fourth stint as Vancouver opens a four-game stretch that includes three Ontario stops and a neutral-site matchup in Kelowna.
- The Vancouver Bandits announced Thursday the re-signing of forward Grant Shephard for the remainder of the 2026 Canadian Elite Basketball League season, bringing the 6-foot-10 Kelowna native back for his fourth stint with the organization.
- Shephard brings professional experience after playing the 2025-26 season with CSB Corona Brasov in Romania, having previously competed in the CEBL during the 2019, 2023, and 2025 seasons.
- Following two home victories at the Langley Events Centre, the Bandits head to Ontario for a multi-game road trip, facing the River Lions in Niagara before traveling to Brampton and Ottawa.
- The team will play a neutral-site game against the Saskatoon Mamba at Prospera Place, part of the inaugural Kelowna HOOPFEST that organizers are dubbing a "home game" for the squad.
- Vancouver currently leads the western conference division with three wins and one loss; after the road stretch, the club returns to the Langley Events Centre on June 13 for a rematch against the Ottawa Black Jackets.
