A man is contesting a charge of having a ‘kitchen knife’ in a public place – Church Place in Lurgan – without good reason or lawful authority. Edward Cowley (34), of Scarva Walk, Banbridge, is alleged to have committed an offence on February 6 this year. At Craigavon Magistrates’ Court on Friday the case was adjourned to April 22 for a contest.
