This week’s Baker Hughes Rig Count shows that the U.S. decreased by 7 over last week, resulting in a total count of 547 rigs. Canada had an increase of 1 over last week, resulting in a total Canadian count of 140 rigs. Breakdown by region Of the regions tracked by Baker Hughes, no regions experienced an increase this week. Meanwhile, 2 regions experienced a decrease this week: The Granite Wash is at 12, down 1. The Permian is at 270, down 1.
