Bahrain evacuates commercial aircraft fleet to Saudi Arabia

A large-scale evacuation of civilian aircraft took place in Bahrain on March 10, 2026. Bahrain’s Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) announced on Wednesday that a number of commercial and cargo aircraft have been repositioned from Bahrain International Airport as part of an approved operational strategy to ensure the continuity of air services under the highest safety and security standards.
