As every year, under resource conditions, modest families with children in school will receive assistance to equip themselves on Tuesday, 18 August. The amount varies between 420 and 460 euros.

The aid is paid to families whose resources for the year 2024 do not exceed €28,956 for one child, €35,638 for two children, €42,320 for three children.
This resource-tested allowance is intended to help modest families with school children, students or apprentices between the ages of 6 and 18.
The ARS 2026 will be paid on 18 August to three million families, with amounts of up to 466 euros depending on the age of the child.Judged "essentially" by the associations, this aid, however, hardly covers the real cost of re-entry for the most modest households that are facing increasing needs.
