Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown is celebrating the arrival of an ocelot baby. According to the zoo, the female was born on February 1, 2026 after a "reproducing process that was handled carefully" between the ocelots Rio and Mateo. Zoo officials said that Rio, who is a first-time mother, naturally gave birth despite experiencing a high-risk pregnancy.
