- On Monday, January 26, a collision at around 3.50pm on Herbert Avenue near Manor Avenue in Poole involved an e-bike striking a pregnant woman in her 30s whose rider reportedly failed to stop.
- Police say the rider and a pillion passenger left the scene and no arrests have been made, with Dorset Police asking the pillion passenger to come forward.
- Officers appealed for dashcam footage and witnesses to contact Dorset Police online, by calling 101, or Crimestoppers on Freephone 0800 555 111 for their full investigation, Police Constable Dan Blagden said.
- The woman, aged in her 30s, attended hospital for treatment and later gave birth in hospital while the newborn baby remains in a serious condition, Dorset Police said.
