Avon Lake council flags Ohio House Bill 361 as threat to local control

AVON LAKE, Ohio -- City Council has approved a series of measures ranging from traffic safety rules and technology contracts to a major land purchase tied to regional water service.Council members also asked city officials to assess an Ohio House bill that they said could weaken local control over development.
