Avon Lake council fast-tracks reimbursement deal tied to power plant redevelopment

AVON LAKE, Ohio -- City Council has voted to suspend its normal three-reading requirement and approve an ordinance allowing Mayor Mark Spaetzel to sign a second amendment to a reimbursement agreement tied to the former power plant’s redevelopment project.The ordinance authorizes the mayor to execute a second amendment to the professional services reimbursement agreement with Avon Lake Environmental Redevelopment Group LLC (ALERG).
