Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Update Brings Third-Person and New Game Plus Modes
NO LOC, JUL 21 – The free update adds a highly requested third-person mode and New Game+ with a new skill tree and tougher enemies, launching two weeks before the new Avatar film, Ubisoft said.
- Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment announced a free update on December 5, adding third-person mode and New Game+.
- The Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora community prompted inclusion of third-person mode and New Game+, which lets players restart with their inventory and skills.
- With a button press, Ubisoft Massive reworked animations, controls, audio and camera systems, enabling seamless perspective swaps, as the development team said it brings scale, freedom, and immersion.
- With the update arriving ahead of Avatar: Fire and Ash, Omar Bouali said, "We've always envisioned Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora as a living world that evolves with our players," noting the timing before the film's release.
- Through July 31, 2025, players can get the game at 70% off and face tougher enemies with a new skill tree and powerful gear.
