'Avatar: Fire and Ash' Streams June 24 on Disney+
The third Avatar film won an Oscar for visual effects and follows the Sullys as humans and Na'Vi clash over Spider.
On Wednesday, Century Studios announced that Avatar: Fire and Ash will premiere on Disney on June 24, following the film's theatrical debut on Dec 19.
James Cameron directed the third film in the Avatar series, co-writing the screenplay with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.
In Avatar: Fire and Ash, the Sullys attempt to return Spider to others, but Pandora merges with his respiratory system as Fire tribe leader Verang teams up with Quaritch to attack.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña reprise their roles as Jake and Neytiri, joined by Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, and Jemaine Clement, while UPI praised the film's interesting conflicts.
The franchise continues with a TV series arriving on Hulu in 2025, while Weaver previously co-starred in "Alien Resurrection" in 1997.
