US Department of War (DoW) is investing $20.2 million in AeroVironment (AV) for expanding its production facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The expansion is aimed at increasing the output of the Freedom Eagle 1 (FE-1), a next-generation interceptor designed to defeat unmanned aerial systems (UAS) at scale.
