According to ADEFA data, the production of vehicles fell 11.6% last month and accumulates -17.1% in the year.The fall is due to the smaller sale of local vehicles in the concessionaries.Exports accounted for 62% of the production and remain stable.
Automotive terminals produced 39,381 units last month, 26.3% more than in July; compared to August 2025, the fall was 11.6%; in the first eight months of the year, manufacturing fell 17.1%
From ADEFA they rescue that in August there was a slight recovery but recognize that the sector goes through "a challenging scenario".
