Swiss International Airlines will be flying back to Tel Aviv from 29 September. The Lufthansa subsidiary announced that a new situation assessment had enabled an earlier resumption. Flights to Beirut are scheduled to start again from 3 August. Swiss had suspended the route in June due to the escalating regional tensions.
Due to the changed security situation, Austrian Lufthansa subsidiary Austrian Airlines will be able to resume its flights to Israel. According to AUA, it will soon be decided when the Iranian capital Tehran can be re-trieved.
