Attorney for mother of Northampton teen who died by suicide continues to assail school officials

SPRINGFIELD — Six years after a Northampton High School student took her own life amid school bullying, the teen’s mother continues a court battle to hold the city accountable. The student was a sophomore and, according to a lawsuit making the slow crawl through U.S. District Court, had been tormented by members of her former friend group for nearly two years. She is identified only as “N.M.” in pleadings.
