The Secretary of the Department of Transportation and Public Works, Edwin González Montalvo, announced the start of an amnesty period that will allow drivers to pay traffic fines with a 40 percent discount.
Although the Fiscal Control Board is still evaluating the impact of this amnesty, the governor assured that it will be implemented.
The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTOP) explained that the amnesty will be in effect for 120 days, until Friday, July 10.
