Ansbach: Neighborhood Dispute Escalates – Attack with Sledgehammer, Axe and Shovel

A 41-year-old and a 22-year-old are getting on with each other because of loud music. Despite the violent attacks, however, neither of the two men is seriously injured, according to the police.

The 45-year-old man who was arrested on Tuesday evening on the Schaffensesteenweg in Paal (Beringen), barricaded himself in his home after an incident with the neighborhood and the police. The man carried out three axe attacks in the past, each time damaging vehicles.

In spite of the violent attacks, neither of the two men was seriously injured, according to the police. The reason for the dispute was probably the loud music of a 22-year-old in Ansbach.
