Yangon, April 20: A KIA revolutionary source told Yangon New Media that a military convoy coming to Hpakant Township, Kachin State, was attacked with heavy weapons and small arms mines on the Hpakant-Kamai road between Hmaw Siza Village and Nam Ma Pyi Village, killing about 20 soldiers and militiamen. The Lisu militia, which was under the command of the Military Commission, attacked the convoy at around 8:30 a.m. on April 19.
