ATRI Announces Membership Recruitment for Research Advisory Committee
Applications are open through May 15, 2026, for the 2027-2028 Research Advisory Committee to guide ATRI's freight-transportation research and methodology development.
- On January 27, 2026, the American Transportation Research Institute launched recruitment for the 2027-2028 Research Advisory Committee and opened an online application to nominate industry colleagues.
- As the trucking industry’s 501c3 not-for-profit research organization, ATRI seeks RAC members to collaborate with researchers on research methodologies and data-collection tools.
- RAC members will serve on subcommittees working with ATRI researchers, provide data for research initiatives and promote findings while representing motor carriers, suppliers, drivers, government and academia.
- The ATRI Board of Directors will appoint members to the 2027-2028 Research Advisory Committee when they meet later this year, and ATRI President Rebecca Brewster said members play a critical role identifying top research needs.
