Athletes from 5 counties gather for Special Olympics Trumbull County Invitational

GIRARD, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Special Olympics Trumbull County Invitational took place Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium in Girard. This year, 160 athletes across five counties took part in the event. They all competed in races such as the 50-meter, 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter and 800-meter runs as well as the softball throw, shotput and long jump.
