The Athens Board of Education on Monday decided to stick with a request of up to $600,000 from voters as part of four-year, non-recurring operational referendum in November. Quarles & Brady, the district’s bond company, will come up with the language of a resolution for the board to vote at its Aug. 17 meeting to meet the state’s deadline for the Nov. 3 ballot.
